Cute Is What We Aim For

Tonight I stumbled upon what I do believe is going to become one of my favorite bands. Check 'em out. My goodness, I can't stop listening to them.

Not to rain on your parade,

but I, personally, don't like them. Sorry.

Shameless plug. My best friend during high school is the guitarist. (pictured front)

And no, you're not required to like them either.

It's Raining Men, Alleluia, it's raining men. . . sorry, that's the only rain on any parade that I'd want.

I think the music is cute - it reminds me of Rob's band "Insight" (or perhaps it has a new name now) but either way, fun stuff. . .

You should plug Zen Withstanding, now that's some amazing lyrics!! Plus you're practically a part of the band, or your voice is anyways. . .

Robby, those aren't EVEN the words to Mmmm Bop! Trust me, Em and I know. Well, I know, at least. I used to sing it to the neighbors behind Em's house on summer Saturday afternoons in good ol' 1996. Yeah. It goes a little somethin' like this:

Mmm Bop
Dop-a-doo bop
(Do like I do) bop
Dop-a-doo - oo
Hey yeah

Em--whatever happened to that other guy Rob? My goodness, I still remember standing in his bedroom music studio, singing into a mic. He had some good stuff goin' on. And I DO plug Zen Withstanding, too, on my MySpace page. They're 'da bomb.

I came home from class today and couldn't find Simon. Finally, after he heard me on the computer in my room, I saw him crawl out sheepishly from underneath my bed. He's scared of the weather- your cat is a wimp.

That was random Leah... Couldn't you have told that to Lauren in person?

What a strange bird you are.

But I agree with your statement on the cat, and I could add a few more not-so-nice comments as well... Cats are not my friends.

I had a cat and my cat pleased me,
I fed my cat by the sycamore tree
The cat went Fiddle-I-Fee.

I had a chicken and my chicken pleased me,
I fed my chicken by the sycamore tree
The chicken went chee-chee, chee-chee
The cat went fiddle-I-fee

I had a horse and my horse pleased me
I fed my horse by the sycamore tree
The horse went Trot-a-trot, Trot-a-trot
The chicken went chee-chee, chee-chee
The cat went fiddle-I-fee!
