Nashville was WONDERFUL! I love the Youth Specialties conventions. . .great worship, my favorite Christian artists, fabulous people (including random run-ins with an old high school friend and a new friend up in Dallas!), incredible time for rest and rejuvenation. It was great great great. And now I get to go home for Thanksgiving! Sooooo ready!!

Hugs to all. Goodnight.

I'm waiting for the world to fall
I'm waiting for the scene to change
I'm waiting when the colors come
I'm waiting to let my world come undone.

Oh! OH! Everyone! I've got an idea!

Let's invent a sport, but we'll start with its name and work backwards! Won't that be fun?

OK, ready?

You win Violinball by earning the LEAST amount of points. And you get rid of points by plucking strings.

Next person, go!

Alright, alright:

The violin bow can also double as a sword, eye-poking stick, and shin swatter. Those are all fair game.

The opposing team would have to use the other team's bows. The point then would be to throw the ball hard enough to break the strings on the bows to earn points...

Violinball is a very violent sport, considering it's called violinball.

I just have a few more ideas, none of them concerning this, that I wanted to share with you on my Lovely Lauren's blog:

1)Kickboxing is a boring sport. You should be allowed to kickbox wearing ice skates. That'd make it interesting!

2)You know what I've always wanted to do? Build a snowman, and then blast the shit out of it with a paintball gun. It's be a nice, violent way to vent your frustrations, and also, really pretty!

While kickboxing may be a boring sport, the movie, starring Jean-Claude Van Damme is absolutely classic.
